About
Who we are
We’re working to increase California’s investment in the arts, make creativity an integral part of our economy, and give artists in California a voice in Sacramento.
Every day, we’re working tirelessly to advance arts and culture in California’s economy by advocating for policies at the legislative level.
We have a clear vision: for California to be the best place to be an artist or arts worker of any kind – from a designer or teacher, to a ballerina or musician.
Arts and culture workers are an integral part of California’s economy, society, and communities. We’re here to help them by increasing California’s investment in the arts.

Our sister organization, California for the Arts, provides programs and services to make advocating for the arts easier than ever. As a 501c3, they help promote awareness of the arts, while California Arts Advocates – a 501c4 – ensures the arts are represented on a legislative level.
